St John’s is the Church of England Parish Church for the parish of Greenhill, which is the town centre area of Harrow. Our Parochial Church Council is a registered charity.
Our purpose is to worship God and grow disciples of Jesus who share God’s love in the world.

There are several saints called John. Our patron saint is St John the Baptist, who prepared the way for Jesus. See, for example, Matthew, Chapter 3.

St John’s is on the corner of Station Road and Sheepcote Road: our postcode is HA1 2JE (See map: opens in new window). We are a short walk from Harrow-on-the-Hill Station and Harrow Bus Station, and a slightly longer walk (about 10–15 minutes) from Harrow and Wealdstone Station.
Unfortunately, there is no parking on site. Harrow Council has a car park nearby in Greenhill Way (entrance just around the first corner after you turn into Greenhill Way from Station Road). Charges £1.60/hour from 10 am to 6 pm Sundays, 8 am to 6.30 pm weekdays (including bank holidays) (how to pay).
There is a permanent ramp up to the main church entrance in Station Road, which is suitable for wheelchair users. There are two steps (measuring 6in/15cm each) with handrails each side up to the vestry area, where our lavatory is situated.
We have a sound loop around the worship area of the church, including St Michael’s Chapel.

The Victoria Hall, which is next to the church in Sheepcote Road, offers rooms for hire. It is run separately from the church, so please contact the hall direct on its website or by telephone (020 3093 0710).
